Responsible for implementing waste sustainability in production and waste recycling management systems, aligning with the strategic goal of Nike's OEM ODM “zero waste” in the production.
Ensuring and developing future strategies while auditing for understanding and alignment as well as ensuring the certification/re-certification for all relevant standards within the company.

1. Implement waste management systems.
2. Align with the Strategic Goal and Framework.
3. Integrate into the Product Creation Center.
4. Be the internal/external communications leader.
5. Develop the 3-year strategic plan.
6. Align understanding through audits.

Language: Excellent English is a must with some Vietnamese preferred.

Technical experience within the footwear industry is a plus, but the ability to develop 3-year strategy and teach is highly preferred. Experience communicating with large multinational corporations an added bonus. A passion for environmental sustainability and environmental stewardship is an absolute requirement. Critical thinking skills and creative problem solving are highly preferred.

Required knowledge and skills:
1. Academic background of Water Engineering, Environmental Sciences/engineering preferred.
2. Fundamentals of engineering, Civil Engineering, Waste Management, sustainable environmental systems.
3. Environmental leadership and stewardship.
4. Process by which a shoe is made and its relevant areas of water use.
5. Footwear product creation process.
6. Difference between water management and water reduction.
7. Strategic Planning (1-3 year time frame)
8. Ability to think outside of box to derive consumption standards by model/process.
9. Understand the true intention of NIKE's assessment tools.
10. Business case thinking.
11. Navigate ambiguity and drive measurable results.

1. Improve and increase operational efficiency across all three facilities.
2. Co-own the progress of our client production facilty and NIKE Division's environmental sourcing (ECAT) within the manufacturing index framework.
3. Align resources and identify areas of overlap and harness and use the Strategic Sourcing Framework (SSF) as a reference to help inform annual strategic planning and management system development.
4.Consolidate existing data sources within our product creation facilities to set consumption standards, with regard to water, on a model/component level.
5. Act as the main point of contact for related internal and external stakeholder communications.
