Full-time Drafter/Draftsman with Autodesk Inventor Drafting Experience

Commercial Stainless is a privately owned business with 40+ employees that specializes in custom stainless steel, millwork, and stone countertop projects for the food service industry. Typical project builds include hot & cold food counters, custom sink combinations, work tables, wall shelves, & storage cabinets. Commercial Stainless is a single shift operation that provides a good working environment, excellent wages and benefits, and the potential for a life long career in the stainless steel fabrication industry. The ideal candidate for this job will bring Autodesk Inventor drafting experience to our drafting team, and they will be experienced enough in Inventor to be able to step right into the position to begin creating fabrication drawings for the shop floor. This new position will be located in house (remote candidates need not apply).

- Accurately and efficiently convert customer drawings/blueprints and specs into in house shop drawings using Autodesk Inventor.
- Accurately and efficiently make changes/revisions to original drawings when dictated by the customer.
- Communicate all changes to production team.
- Understand, follow, and communicate verbal and written instructions.
- Must be organized and detail oriented.
- Must be self motivated and dependable.
- Able to hit target deadlines and switch priorities as needed.
- Must be able to work overtime when needed.

- Minimum 2 years work experience using Autodesk Inventor.
- Minimum 2 years work experience using Auto CAD.
- Strong math and computer skills.
- Sheet metal fabrication experience a plus.
