ABOUT THE JOB

The Part Time (PT) Merchandisers will be merchandising our clients’ products when working in the largest retailers to ensure product and shelf integrity in your community. The part time merchandiser position offers flexible short and long term schedules throughout the year. Qualified candidates must have an eye for detail and understand basic merchandising tasks (resets, pack out, building displays, cleaning, facing, rotating stock, etc.) to achieve best-in-class results.


Job Description:

As a retail merchandiser, your primary function would be to ensure proper signage and product placement, verifying inventory, and correcting simple display issues for any or all of 2020 Companies’ clients.  Other tasks may include: clean and stock shelves, print and correct price tags, work with basic sets of tools, and report store visits daily.

  • Uses a Smartphone and has the ability to take photos, resize them and upload as required
  • Ability to implement retail schematics and merchandising materials as assigned
  • Flexibility to participate in team scheduled tasks and client work-alongs
  • Build brand recognition; image and voice
  • Dedicated to providing excellent customer service and to develop a professional working relationship with store management, associates, and other merchandising companies to effectively meet company and client objectives
  • Follows company policies, procedures, and position responsibilities

Additional Details

  • Visit Big Box stores such as Target, Frys, Costco, Best Buy, Home Depot, Staples, Office Max, Sam’s
  • PT merchandisers will work 20 – 25 hours as a weekly average 
  • Dress code is white polo shirt, black pants, black shoes, black belt. A branded polo shirt is provided
  • Merchandisers are paid the 2020 Companies’ company policy rate which is currently $0.28 per mile after exceeding 35 miles, tolls and parking will be reimbursed up to the monthly cap of $450. 
  • Merchandisers will need to utilize their own personal smart device (phone or tablet) with internet connection to report daily store activity while company device is in process of being issued

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior retail experience is preferred
  • Plan-o-gram experience preferred
  • Previous experience in installation of electronic product displays preferred
  • Valid driver's license is required as travel to additional locations may be necessary
  • Automobile liability insurance is required to be maintained
  • Standard background check and drug screening as required when designated by the client
  • Work will entail standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, and climbing, as well as upper and lower body mobility
  • Lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift over 50 pounds 
  • Work flexible shifts (am or pm), occasional weekends and/or holidays based on store/client requirements as needed
