Detailed Job Description:
Responsible for monitoring, triaging, resolving, escalating and communicating network incidents/outages as part of a 24x7x365 Department.
Total Experience of > 7 years.
Perform third level incident outage triage, troubleshooting, and fix agent break fix actions on Cisco network infrastructure.
Knowledge of IP stack protocols such as HTTP, FTP, TFTP, DNS, DHCP, TCP, UDP, SNMP, IGMP, PIM, ACLs, VRF's.
Knowledge of routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, BGP.
Provide detailed documentation and summaries of incident/outage tickets.
1+ years Network Administration.
Associate level network certification such as CCNA.
Ability to work an extended and flexible 24x7 day and night work schedule is required.
Ability to quickly learn new technologies in Cable/MSO environment
