Shipboard Electrician - 1681

at Three Saints Bay, LLC in Virginia

GVI, Inc., a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC and a Department of Defense / Navy Contractor and industry leader, is seeking Shipboard Electricians at all levels to support our alternation installation teams.

Job Requirements:

SECRET Security Clearance
High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 2-10+ Years of of shipboard electrical repair and installation.
Installation, repair, and maintain equipment for the generation, distribution, utilization of electrical energy (generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, etc.).
Working with blueprints and drawings
Troubleshooting electrical systems
Read and understand shipboard installation drawings, diagrams, blueprints, and cable running sheets.
Demonstrate advanced speed and accuracy when performing tasks such as attaching fiber optic connectors, RJ-45 connectors, and DB type connectors, and when dressing cable installations so that the finished product presents a well-organized and professional appearance.
Demonstrate superior skills in complex mechanical, sub-assembly, rack and chassis assembly

Hourly pay rate is between $17.82 and $22.59 commensurate with experience and education.
