Position : Tableau Admin

Duration : 12+ Months Contract

 

 

Technical/Functional Skills :

? Develop software to collect performance metrics and Key Performance
Indicators (KPIs) of the platforms on a weekly and monthly basis

? Ensure applications meet Service-Level Agreements (SLAs) and remain
accessible for business functions

? Ensure operations of existing deployments by reliability and performance

? Architecture and Administration of the Tableau Infrastructure

? Day to day 7x24 production support and administration for Tableau
Infrastructure and assisting user community on various tableau server issues

? Monitor server activity/usage statistics to identify possible performance
issues/enhancements

? Perform Installation, Configuration, Migration of Tableau environments
(Upgrades, Patches)

? Communicate and perform root cause analysis with Level-1, Level-2, Level-3
support team for problem resolution and root cause.

? Conduct Operations readiness and environment compatibility review of any
changes prior to deployment.

? Proactive recommendations for improving the performance and operability of
the prod environments in terms of performance optimizations techniques and user
engagement and adoption

? Responsible for documenting technical requirements, test plans, test
results, use cases, technical manuals, and reports

? Development of scripts used to provide better reporting on environment or
application performance and issues, or automatically correct issues as they
occur

? SOP creation related to operations and administration related activities

? Leverage Tableau REST APIs and custom APIs

? Work independently with little supervision while providing clear documented
status and progress of work activities and business issues that impact the
department

? Develop, maintain and manage business-critical dashboards utilizing Tableau

? Site migration, Enforce policies; assist users with workflows

? Run cleanup, Application backup, tsm commands and tsm configuration
knowledge and create backups of the database

? Perform automation of administration tasks utilizing Powershell, Python

? Expe PostgreSQL DB

? Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned

? Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance

? Manage and Co-ordinate and work with off-shore team
