Full-time Virtual Events Marketing

at Jobisite in City of Bristol

We are a virtual events company looking to take on a virtual events marketer on a performance-based contract of 10% commission per sale.

We are looking to hire ASAP and fill this position within 2 weeks, including the interview process.

There will be no salary, purely commission-based.

However, we have international outreach, a following of 8k on our new empowerment Facebook page (two weeks old) and a very scalable model so for the right candidate this could be a lucrative prospect.

Our average product sale is £160 per 1 hour online event.

Our virtual events specialise in entertainment and education, especially in the teambuilding and online facilitation niche of the entertainment industry.

We market the services of Alex Ranahan as the primary host/emcee/facilitator to be hired on a freelance basis by other clients and companies, and our quiz, horse racing, bingo, joke writing, and empowerment events give us extra value and distinguish our personal brand from the larger companies.

Everything is online. Our communications, products, marketing campaigns are all virtual and so can be achieved from working from home.

The role entails:

Creating B2B relationships with team building, facilitation, entertainment event, corporate function and event companies and agencies around the world - we are virtual and can deliver our products and services to anywhere at any time!
Contacting aforementioned companies for freelance opportunities that can either be fulfilled by the Alex Ranahan personal brand or we can be brokers to supply freelance professionals.
Reaching out to corporate businesses with over 50 staff members to demo our services and book their parties/teambuilding/online functions and award ceremonies with us.
Nurturing B2C relationships to encourage booking of events from private parties.
Finding opportunities for affiliate links, partnerships, joint ventures and collaboration with other companies that offer virtual services, events, performances or related products.
Using social media to attract B2C and B2B opportunities through either advertising, posting in groups, targetting competitor followings or retargeting current following and interest.
Advising or running follow-up email campaigns and internet research areas.

We will provide:

Access to our current market and competitor research.
Lists of potential prospects (over 1k).
Additional social media advertising strategies and learning material including YouTube advertising targeting and paid-for resources.
Support of 2 members of remote general assistant staff if necessary.
Access to the website, advertising, and all required metrics.

The ideal candidate is full-time at 40 hours a week, spread across 5 days.

However, this is a flexible job where you can choose the hours to work around you - all our work is virtual and different countries have different time zones. Alternatively, all posts and emails can be scheduled!

There will be a probationary period of a month with a contract to be negotiated in periods of 3-12 months.

I am looking for someone who possesses the following skills:

Online Marketing

Excel/word skills

Ability to navigate social media

Track history of Facebook advertising success

Skill at using Facebook and Youtube advertising strategies

Google Adwords and Keyword Planner

Linkedin Sales Navigator

Strong English language speaking, typing and communication

Use of their own internet and computer

Previous experience of getting results from marketing and online campaigns is essential. Special interest will be given to those proficient in a solely-virtual marketplace and with social media skills.


Passion for virtual events

Knowlege of the teambuilding and online entertainment events market and industry

Own marketing materials, software, and specialist accounts and tools - to be negotiated.

Knowledge of boosting metrics, optimising website results and sales funnels.
