QA Automation Engineer

QA Automation:
? Responsibilities
o Design and improve business and system processes.
o Design and improve cross-organizational and cross-enterprise processes.
o Provide analysis at the executive and enterprise level
o Efficiently and effectively communicate status of assigned tasks to the
developers/engineers, and management. Participate in various test cycle
activities,
including unit, regression, and user acceptance tests.
o Track requirements via traceability matrix
o Manage small to large-sized and complex development projects or defect fixes
o Review user interface designs and flows. Modify or revise as appropriate
with
input from business stakeholders or other SMEs
o Write documentation and communications including executive reporting, system
design documents and project return on investment or other financial analyses
? Minimum Requirements
o Experience working in/managing teams in an Agile environment
o Demonstrated skills in enterprise and cross-organizational process capture.
o Demonstrated skills in software-aided process capture.
o Demonstrated skills in analyzing processes and identifying opportunities for
enhancements. `
o Demonstrated experience in a project leadership role.
o Demonstrated experience establishing strong relationships with operational,
IT
and financial management.
o Experience in data analysis
o Excellent organizational skills.
o Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
o Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio and PowerPoint.
o Experience managing quality assurance teams in an Agile environment
o Proven ability to multi-task.
o Bachelor?s degree in computer science or related field.
o Demonstrated ability to grasp complex software requirements.
o Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
? Quality Assurance Analyst Specific Requirements
o Provide quality assurance standards, performance and functionality for DC
Agency development projects.
o Actively contribute to the team effort to maintain the vision and direction
of the
quality assurance team.
o Provide creative and practical solutions to meet goals.
o Create test plans, test scripts and plan projects based on the analysis of
technical
specifications.
o Review functional specifications and create/review test cases.
o Document, track and communicate test results, and analyze unresolved
problems.

? Responsibilities
o Create strategic vision, assess the current as-is architecture, and build
tobe
architecture in collaboration with technology team and business owners
o Create and manage enterprise and systems architecture
o Socialize desired target architecture with entire technology team
o Communicate desired architecture and plans for achieving target architecture
to high-level business stakeholders
? Minimum Requirements
o Ten years? experience creating and managing enterprise and
systems architectures across entire business units
o Strong technical, leadership, and communication skills, influencing and
mentoring skills
o Experience and understanding of Infrastructure as Code, Automation, and
Orchestration
o Demonstrated credibility with peers and key stakeholders to drive and lead
positive change
o In-depth knowledge of information security, data center, and cloud-based
operations, overall IT systems support, and DevOps
o Demonstrated experience developing systems using agile methodologies and
?test first? development
o Must be highly collaborative and keep abreast of the most current technology
advances in support of technical strategies
o Familiarity with The District?s IT infrastructure and organization
o Familiarity with basic graphical modeling approaches, tools and model
repositories
? Salesforce Architecture Specific Requirements
o Experience developing and maintaining Salesforce architecture artifacts,
frameworks and patterns as references for the development teams across IT
o Participation in the Salesforce architecture community of practice,
technology
talks, external events and customer briefings
o Leading and/or participating in the enterprise architecture governance and
compliance processes to ensure all Salesforce areas of IT are implementing
solutions consistent with the target architecture
o Experience overseeing the documentation of Salesforce architecture design
and analysis work
o Experience leading the development and execution of a communication and
education plan for the Salesforce architecture
o Experience and understanding of the Salesforce, force.com
