Position Overview:

This position involves working with regulating the supply and use of chemical and biological agents used for pest control in the United States. Regulatory decisions vary from narrow in scope and impact to very broad in scope and complexity.

Decisions involve assessing potential risks of pesticide use, estimating the countervailing benefits of pesticide use, developing criteria and standards for regulation, and documenting both its regulatory conclusions and rationale. All of these operations are information-intensive, requiring substantial amounts of technical information from pesticide firms and other sources.

We are seeking a senior level Project Manager capable of providing oversight for a wide spread regulatory program with multiple levels of task responsibility. Prior education or work experience with chemical/biological data is desirable.


•Serve as the Project Manager for a wide spread regulatory program with multiple levels of task responsibility.

•Assist in working with the Government Contracting Officer (CO), the contract level Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), and government management personnel and customer agency representatives.

•Under the guidance of the Program Manager, responsible for management of the specific tasks and ensuring that the technical solutions and schedules in the task order are implemented in a timely manner

•Assist with formulating work standards, creating strategic project objectives, and managing client issues and feedback.

•Assume accountability for supervising designated resources and enforcing quality control practices for each task.

•Maintain responsibility for project reviews and overall task progress and performance.


•Bachelor of Science Degree preferred.

•Minimum of seven years of experience of which at least five years must be specialized. Specialized experience includes project development from inception to deployment, expertise in the management of resources, managing contracts and/or subcontracts of various types and complexity.

•General experience includes increasing responsibilities in information systems design and/or management.

•Other experience includes coordinating multiple projects and teams and assisting client in achieving desired program results.

•Selected candidate will be required to submit required HSPD-12 application information for processing
