SUMMARY: Maintains present accounts by ordering steel, arranging delivery and controlling inventory

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

l  Prepares weekly and monthly reports for both customer and MSS. Coordinates warehouse functions with customer production control, quality control and stamping.
l  Controls nonconforming products and returns of customer material for payment and disposition of coils.
l  Responsible for day to day activities of each customer – ordering, production, delivery, quality.
l  Prepares weekly and monthly reports.
l  Prepares forecasts and analyzes for accuracy.
l  Travels to customer and supplier facilities for meetings and tours.
l  Assists in negotiation of pricing with customers.
l  Develops quotations for management approval.
l  Responsible for issuing and tracking of budget items as they relate to each specific customer.
l  Provides input into quality matters relating to specific customers accounts.
l  Develops and maintains parts lists for related accounts.
l  Monitors and controls inventory levels for related accounts.
l  Provides information to operations concerning customer requirements.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree from four year college or university; or two years related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and work instructions. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from group of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and accounts, such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

SOFTWARE SKILLS: Advanced skills in using standard desktop programs such as Microsoft Access and Excel. Experience in working with an ERP system desired.

ANALYTICAL SKILLS: Demonstrated ability to build up proposal from concept preferred. Past experience in presenting proposals to customers and negotiating also desired.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to use various personal computer software .

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit. The employee is required to walk distances within the warehouse and TMMI plant.
