Full-time Payroll & Benefits Administrator

at Jobisite in Ontario

We are looking for a Payroll and Benefits Administrator. You will be responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of payroll and maintenance of benefit programs for salaried staff. Duties will include payroll and benefit account maintenance, vacation, reconciliations and various payroll and benefit related reports. This role is a work-in-office position.

Responsibilities:

Payroll processing for salaried employees
Sales Commissions
Calculation of and remittance of various deductions
Reconciliation of payroll accounts
Year end filing, T4s, T2200s
Ensure compliance with payroll policies and procedures
Respond to inquiries from employees, managers, and accounting department
Administration of benefits and remittance of premiums and maintenance of benefit files for employees
Requirements:

Minimum 3 years relevant experience in a similar role
Proficiency with ADP Payroll Software
Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
Enrollment in or completion of Certified Payroll Designation through the CPA is a definite asset
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional customer service skills
