General Description
Primary responsibility: Marketing and Business Development Administrator is to assist with Marketing activities and solicit new business via cold calling.

Duties
Develop good customer relationships to identify customer needs and help drive product and service sales.
Support different aspects of the full sales cycle from lead generation to close.
Call, research and solicit new business by contacting a new customer via phone, e-mail, or through LinkedIn.
Quantify potential opportunities that lead to new business.
Assist in uncovering additional sales opportunities with current and prospective customers.
Measure and track sales results.
Collate and distribute monthly reports on sales activities.
Generate reports for all departments and sales staff that assist their customer base.
Help create cross-marketing programs and provide other support to the marketing group.
Assist in Marketing activities such as website maintenance, social media, content & graphics creation, and campaign support.
Prepare reports of findings, illustrating data graphically and translating complex findings into written text.
Attempt to spend three days on Business Development activities and 2 days a week supporting Marketing.
Other duties as assigned.

Experience
Two or more years of technical or consulting sales/marketing experience.
Experience cold calling prospective customers

Education
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing preferred.
