Kiliuda Consulting is seeking File Room Technicians to support our customer at the Office of Naval Research located in Arlington, VA.


Job Duties:

Prepare, update and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to duties

Staff the Code 02 file room and when unable to staff the file room, ensure that there is coverage

Provide customer service for specialists and other customers, which includes retrieving files, scanning, and special copying requests from Code 02 and occasionally other customers outside of Code 02.

Track location of contract and grant folders including requesting and tracking closed files requested from archives.

Prepare files for record center shipment. Include appropriate documentation in closed file (i.e. DD1594, closeout memo, accounting reports) IAW applicable regulations (e.g., FAR, DFARS, NMCARS, DoDGARS, and other policy) and ensure closeout shipment is properly labeled and shipped IAW ONR policy.

Communicate with administrative offices, specialists, and finance and program officers regarding status of files

Coordinate with Code 08 for recording expiring fund de-obligations

Assist with electronic filing and transition to the Electronic Procurement System (EPS).



Requirements:



U.S. Citizen

Favorable U.S. National Agency Background Check

High school diploma

Six (6) years relevant experience in contracting or related field

Experience in and working knowledge of government/defense programs

Excellent writing skills and be able to communicate orally and in writing

Familiar with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) based procurements.
