Job Title : Middleware Administrator

Location : Culver City, CA

Duration : 6+ Months Contract

 

Technical/Functional Skills :

AWS / JBOSS / Apache / Weblogic / Openshift/ SpringBoot/Shell
scripting/Devops/ Service Now / Monitoring tool.

 

 

Roles & Responsibilities :


JBoss experience to help with support, buildout/config/clustering/best
practices/troubleshooting/performance tuning for JBoss EAP (Redhat) 6.1 & above
Jboss Enterprise Web server /Apache Experience, JDBC/JMS configuration and
code deployment on JBOSS
Experience with Standalone, domain mode Jboss and experiencing in building
out HA, clustered environment.
Knowledge of web and application servers and their configuration.
Familiarity with modern software development and deployment practices.
Experience designing and defining cloud system architecture for new or
existing computer systems
Experience building/managing servers in the AWS (Amazon Web Services)
environment
Experience with cloud/server/network/storage implementation and support
Experience maintaining up-to-date documentation, and prepares documentation
for infrastructure changes
Strong working/troubleshooting experiences on LINUX/UNIX OS.
Good knowledge of Shell Scripting, Linux, Jenkins and CI/CD, devops is
preferred.
Working experience in Ansible, Terraform or any other infrastructure as
code tool.
Work with the Team Lead and technical team members to support development
and implementation activities 24/7 Mon ? Sun and on release weekends.
Will have to support some weekend release implementations and provide
off-hour communication as required.
Must know basics of OpenShift/Docker/Kubernetes .
Must have good experience of Service now and Change management processes

Need to have excellent communication skills (including English conversation
skills), demonstrate excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work independently and resolve complex technical issues and
identify root cause and recommend solutions to help resolve incidents quickly.
Ability to multi-task and complete multiple parallel assignments while
working in an interrupt driven environment.
Take the initiative to act on and own issues.
Prior exposure to onsite-offshore working model
