Job Description


Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer, perform highly responsible, analytical administrative tasks; serve as clerk of the board, prepare reports, perform research, prepared grant applications, compile, analyze, interpret, report data, and provide analysis and recommendations regarding a variety of administrative and program matters.
Pay Rate for this Job is $30/Hour
Shift Timings - 1st Shift (Day)


Responsibilities:

• Prepare meeting agendas; compile information and coordinate the preparation of materials for meetings; attend meetings and record minutes.
• Maintain official records and files including records of agendas, minutes, resolutions, motions and ordinances as required.
• Assist in preparing and typing correspondence, reports and other documents from rough drafts or from oral or written directions; prepare, post and distribute legal notices involving the Board as provided by law or ordinance.
• Analyze reports, regulations, requests for information and other matters; identify alternative
• approaches to resolve issues and make recommendations to CEO for proper course of action.
• Compose correspondence reports, manuals, and other documents for management, which communicate policies and procedures.
• Analyze new laws, rules, regulations, and proposed legislation; provide reports to the CEO and others regarding impact on LHA
• Attend meetings and conferences; prepare reports to the CEO as necessary regarding significant results and identity information or recommendations resulting from meetings.
• Perform studies for a program; research data, analyze results and prepare recommendations for review of CEO
• Supervise and evaluate subordinate staff.
• Prepare grant proposals in support of the programs; receive, review and analyze potential revenue sources; recommend approaches to satisfy requirements of revenue sources.
• Coordinate with other support agencies to accomplish program goals; interact with numerous federal, State, and County government agencies, private agencies and law enforcement agencies.
• Prepare a variety of complex reports in support of programs; consolidate data from several sources and assure accuracy of data presented.
• Answer phones and field public information requests, relay messages, or provide appropriate information.
• Prepare deposits, process invoices and maintain day-to-day billing operations.
• Design and oversee implementation of offices processes.
• Provide general administrative support for Executive Director
• Assist Executive Director in the supervision and direction of specific functions as assigned.



Qualifications:



• Parliamentary Procedures
• Public budgetary processes.
• Statistical methods.
• Operation of a computer terminal and data entry techniques.
• Correct English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation and vocabulary.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Research methods and report writing techniques.
• Laws, rules, and regulations related to assigned activities.
• Inter-personnel skill using tact, patience, and courtesy.
• Budget preparation and control.
• Prepare and deliver oral presentations.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of experience performing professional research and analytical work in the private or public sector
• OR
• Associate's degree from an accredited college or university and (4) years of experience performing professional research and analytical work in the private or public sector.
