The J.U. Kevil Center is hiring for a Direct Support Professional (DSP). You will be a part of a dedicated team that serves individuals with disabilities in the Western Kentucky Community. The J.U. Kevil Center serves individuals with disabilities in a way that preserves and promotes dignity, independence, self-esteem, and personal growth.
The Direct Support Professional (DSP) will be responsible for, Working with individuals with disabilities to reach their objectives and goals, Complete daily staff notes including but not limited to attendance, behavior, classes and activities. Complete Monthly Summaries as needed according to Medicaid Regulations, Maintain quality control in an production area, Responsible for assisting with medication related task (if trained), and apply minor first aid and promptly report all accidents and/or incidents.
This position is a Full-Time Monday - Friday 7:45 am - 3:15 pm. Benefits include: Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, & Life Insurance. Paid Vacation Time, Sick Time, Sick Family Time, Death in Family, Inclement Weather Days. Training is provided for entry level at the Center.'
