The J.U. Kevil Center is hiring for a Clerk at our Kevil Korner Stores. You will be part of a dedicated team that serves individuals with disabilities in the Western Kentucky Community. The J.U. Kevil Center serves individuals with disabilities in a way that preserves and promotes dignity, independence, self-esteem, and personal growth.

The Clerk Candidate will be responsible for: greeting customers, receiving donations, checking all merchandise to make sure it is neat, clean, sized and that it is properly marked and priced as needed and put in its proper place, assist in keeping the seasonal displays neat, organized and up to date, maintain cleanliness and neatness of the store, completing sales transaction using a Point of Sale System, work in assigned areas in the back of the store sorting and organizing donations.

Working hours are typically 5 days per week and you could possibly be scheduled every Friday and/or Saturday 9:00 am – 5: 30 pm.

This position does qualify for paid time off for the following circumstances upon hire, Inclement Weather, Sick Family, Death in Family & Holidays. After 6 months of employment Vacation and Sick.
