Join a cohort of professionals for an upcoming guided, in person-training to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and then begin your new job at Canary Therapy.

If you want to make a difference and are passionate about meaningful work, becoming a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a great choice!

RBTs work one-on-one with children diagnosed on the autism spectrum. As an RBT, you will help children work towards goals to increase social, behavioral and communication skills.

What you bring: (requirements)

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
A reliable source of transportation to meet clients in their homes
Computer skills for effective reporting including documentation, billing, note-taking, etc.
Preferred:

An associate or bachelor's degree is preferred in a related field, such as psychology, education, social work, special education, etc, but successful candidates come from many different backgrounds.
Passion for working with children and an enthusiasm for learning how to best serve neurodiverse families
Strong communication skills to coordinate with patients and staff
Availability to commit to an in-person (1 week/40 hours) paid training program where you will learn the ropes and ultimately become a certified RBT!
