Full-time CRO Account Manager for a Growth Consulting Firm

Hello, CRO Account Managers!

My name is Sina and I am the CEO at Conversion Advocates - a Growth Consulting Firm. We provide a data-driven and customer-focused approach to the growth strategy for our clients and build CRO programs that produce massive ROI.

We are looking for a motivated and passionate Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Account Manager to join our team. The CRO Manager will work on a portfolio or client projects to support our team in driving results and growth.
This will be a once in a lifetime opportunity to learn from and work with a team that has reliably driven results for over a decade. A part of the role is for you to develop your skills, experience, and grow into more responsibility over time. You will receive feedback, best-in-class training, and be able to model our processes for how to understand an industry, gain insights into customer behavior through our research methodology, and apply these insights to optimizing the customer journey.

This is a full-time remote position.

We are looking for a CRO Account Manager specifically with these requirements:

Native English or close to a native speaker (important for consistent client interaction).
3+ years of client management experience in a role at a digital agency or consulting firm
Strong ability to present data or insights tied to overall growth strategy
Strong understanding of how to apply insights and recommendations to the customer journey
Strong ability to navigate the politics of client communication
Passion for building relationships, interacting with clients
Strong project management skills and the ability to drive multiple projects forward simultaneously


Nice to have:
CRO or UX training or certifications
Basic understanding of user experience or usability principles
Basic understanding of growth marketing or growth-stage startup environments
Experience interfacing with analysts and developers
Knowledge of a/b testing tools and interpreting results with Optimizely, Intellimize, VWO, Convert, or Google Optimize
Experience with analytics platforms like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Heap









Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

Client Onboarding Process:
Work with the Chief Growth Officer to create amazing experiences from sales through client onboarding
Build 90 Day growth plans based on inputs from discovery and scoping calls
Ensure successful 90 day CRO onboardings by coordinating across internal teams to hit deadlines and fulfill deliverables
Client Management:
Look for potential roadblocks and find preemptive solutions to keep projects on track with clients and internal teams
Provide client exec teams with direct and assertive feedback on a needed team or process improvements
Ability to overcome objections or push back on issues from senior decision-makers (CMOs, VPs, Directors) that could impede project success
Escalate any major client issues to the management team
Handle weekly CRO Sprint calls (from planning the agenda, presenting reports, to coordinating follow-up tasks via Clickup for the team)
Build Long Term Strategic Partnerships:
Be accountable for lifetime value and client retention metrics
Own Quarterly Business Reviews to showcase results and insights, evolve strategy, and communicate client’s CRO team and process improvements
Provide upsell recommendations on research services that will drive growth for clients
Customer Research and Presentation:
Collaborate with the CRO team on strategy and research deliverables
Work with CRO analysts on timelines for the research roadmap
Create professional client-facing research presentations (with the research team)
Present research to client executive teams and get buy-in on test hypotheses
Learn to activate quantitative and qualitative customer research
