Electrician Automation Maintenance Repair Programmer Programming Electronics Technician Tech PLC Programmable Controls Controllers HMI Control Panels Machine Interface Motors Servos RS Logix Panelbuilder Control Logix Sensors - - .

Provide maintenance support to Plant operations by identifying, troubleshooting, and repairing problems in electro-mechanical, instrumentation, controls, motors, sensors, and DC/AC power electrical systems that occur in production equipment and processes.

Read and translate electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic information found within blueprints and diagrams to troubleshoot, repair and install process equipment throughout the facility.

Read and translate building and process blueprints and one-line diagrams to troubleshoot, repair, and install outlets, circuits, load centers, and other forms of electrical equipment.

Troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical components and wiring systems using conduit benders, wire strippers and tools such as multi meters, amp meters, screwdrivers, pliers, and drills.

Troubleshoot and diagnose instrumentation and controls issues in industrial equipment and processes.

Continuously maintain proficiency in PLCs and other controls systems.

Advise management, engineers, mechanics, and equipment operators of potential electrical or mechanical hazards.

Recommend equipment to be included in preventive maintenance programs, update existing PMs, and identify opportunities for predictive maintenance.

Update computerized maintenance management system to maintain accurate plant asset historical records and log time spent and parts used.

Suggest improvements to maintenance processes, including planning, scheduling, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, storeroom operations, etc.
