Job Description
PeopleReady ofHickory has an immediate opening forFurniture / Frame Shop Associates inMaiden, NC.
Associates will be working at a local furniture manufacturer at the frame shop. Varying tasks will be grinding frames, shipping and receiving, pushing frames to be prepared for shipment, and putting covers on frames.
Shift runs Monday through Friday, 6am to 4pm, with some occasional Saturday work.
Pay Rate for this Job is $14/Hour
Shift Timings - 1st Shift (Day)

Responsibilities:

• Working with metal and wood framing and roof truss components
• Using hand or electric tools to fabricate, cut, and install framework
• Reading and understanding blueprints and drawings
• Helping place and secure wood during the building process
• Being confident in framing, measuring, trim work, and finishing work

Qualifications & Experience:

• Most positions are trainable upon starting
• Insulate office buildings.
• Install drywall or kitchen cabinets in homes.
• Install the wooden concrete forms for cement footings or pillars.
• Erect shoring and scaffolding for buildings
• Must be able to work the hours of the shift.
• Must be able to stand and walk during most of the shift
• Drug screen required
• Customer Specific Orientation required
