Job Description
PeopleReady ofHickory has an immediate opening forFurniture Manufacturing Associates in Newton, NC
Working in a local furniture manufacturing plant completing any number of tasks. Pushing frames, shipping and receiving, working in cushions, preparing furniture for shipment, receiving fabric, taking work to the sewers, and many more positions available.
Pay Rate for this Job is $14/Hour
Shift Timings - 1st Shift (Day)
Responsibilities Include:

• Feed raw materials into production machinery
• Assemble goods on production lines
• Carry out basic quality and testing checks
• Store goods and raw materials properly in a warehouse
• Pack goods to be shipped

Qualifications:

• Must be able to work the entire shift hours which is generally 6:30am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, with some occasional Sat work.
• Must be able to walk and stand for most of the shift
• Most positions are entry level and are trainable upon starting.
• Customer Specific Orientation Required
• Drug screening required
