Yard Maintenance
$13/hr
6:45am-4pm Mon-Fri and some Saturdays
Temp to Hire

Responsibilities:
Remove all fluids, lubricants and components (i.e. converters) as required in a safe and efficient manner, finalize and prepare car for placement in the yard.
Have some basic mechanical skills
Pull batteries to be tested for possible resale.
Bring various items such as batteries, wheels and tires to the retail area.
Assist the Loader Operator to stage cars or pull cards in properly in the customer yard.
Maintain the yard by placing any parts of other items that are in the ground into the cars or bins.
After vehicles are removed from the yard making sure there is no rubble or parts left on the ground.
Dismantle tires form rims, and stage tires and rims to the proper location
Ability to operate of be trained to operate a fork lift.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Must have flexibility to work variable schedules, including weekends
Assumes other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS
Must be able to work outdoors subject to inclement weather (heat/cold) year round.
Ability to use basic tools
Experience in and industrial setting preferred
Able to stand for long periods of time, walk, push, pull, climb and be able to move/lift up to 50 pounds regularly, without assistance.
