What we do:

FX sales at BNY Mellon serves some of the largest asset managers in the world working to solve their needs across various products from FX spot settlement to forward hedging to options and emerging market non-deliverable forwards. We work to cover clients on the movements and drivers of most of the world’s tradable currencies.


• Participates in/leads activities related to Business Development (FX sales) support, including eFX and other FX product sales, implementations, and demonstrations
• Reviews data analysis to report findings and provides preliminary recommendations
• Can utilize business intelligence tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Excel
• Oversees client requirement assessments and approves proposals
• Generates marketing material and reviews pricing and profitability modeling for all phases of the Business Development processes
• Manages the pipeline database and training
• Develops approach to sales analytics and performs key activities such as generating marketing materials, pricing and research
• Takes lead on analyzing larger, more complex data sets or metrics
• Actively posts on internal sites for desk including economic and risk reports
• Interacts with legal/operations and other business reviews for all potential client projects
• Anticipates and resolves any compliance, legal or regulatory review required for solicitation and response
• Acts as a resource for relationship managers to ensure information needed to complete a sale or to improve the sales process provided in a timely fashion
• Contacts clients on their business needs in FX and reviews eFX connectivity and concerns, clarifies requirements for new products being developed
• Leverages technological expertise for product sales and demonstrations both internally and externally
• No direct reports, may provide guidance to less experienced staff
• Contributes to the achievement of team objectives

• 5-7 years total work experience in sales preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience in business management or related field is required
