Full-time Service Technician

We are currently looking for a dedicated, hard-working, team player to fill the position of:

Service Technician: This position requires knowledge, understanding, and the capability to perform mechanical maintenance. While utilizing repair and diagnostic tools, and record and communicate necessary information regarding the repairs to customers, coworkers, and vendors.

Minimum Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience maintaining fleets or automotive/truck mechanic experience
• Must have own hand tools
• Ability to be forward thinking and offer solutions to the customer and the company
• Post-secondary education is a plus but not required
• Insurable driving record required
• Possess a friendly attitude to coworkers and most importantly to the customer
• Be able to perform under pressure
• Ability to perform efficiently in a diverse work environment
• Punctual and dependable

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Inspect and troubleshoot a variation of automobiles, trucks, trailers, and other equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs.
• Communicate service and repairs to both customer and service advisor.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and coworkers.
• Provide accurate and detailed information upon completion of each job.
• Monitor repair time and communicate with the team.
• Maintain strict adherence to the company policies and operations.
• Be self-starting and work alone effectively.
• Always keep jobsite clean and safe.
• Possess a friendly attitude to coworkers and most importantly to the customer.
• Keep the company interests in the forefront when making daily decisions.
• Set daily goals that are challenging yet obtainable.
• Transport tools and materials around jobsite.
• Work on Continuous self-improvement while maintaining an innovative workplace.
• Use electronic devices and company provided tools.
• Maintain both company and customer tools, equipment, & property
• Maintain a clean driving record.
• Maintain required certifications.
