Job Description
PeopleReady is now hiringLab Technicians in theKingstree, SC area. Immediate opportunity!
The Laboratory Technician I will be responsible for in-process and final inspections. The ideal candidate will have an enthusiasm and genuine interest in inspection and quality systems.This position exists to perform checks to determine the physical characteristics of material for quality compliance and process control.
Note - Pay Rate for this Job is $14/Hour
Shift Timing -All Available

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate measuring equipment and instrumentation.
• Inspect finished goods for physical characteristics.
• Input test data correctly onto Quality system.
• Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly fashion.
• Inspect in-coming material/ oversee inspection process and help improve as necessary.
• Continuously develop their own skills.
• Assist in problem solving activities.
• Support Quality team as applicable.
• Work safely within the companies H&S guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds.
• Basic math skills.
• Computer literate
• Must ensure all work carried out adheres to H&S polices and certified quality systems.
• Must be able to multi-task.
• They must work to internal specifications to aid all inspections
• Drug screen required
• Background Check Required
