Established Company with great reputation is seeking CDL drivers!
Pay: $16.32- $18.89 with a $2,500 SIGN ON BONUS!!
Location: Tulsa, OK
Hours: Must be flexible with schedule
Job Type: Direct hire
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED
OK CDL preferred but only permit required (will train to acquire CDL within 6 months)
No moving violations within last 3 years
No DUI/DWI convictions
Pass DOT physical and additional MTTA requirements
Excellent customer service skills required
Must be flexible & dependable
Excellent attendance required
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Drives assigned MTTA vehicle in a safe, courteous manner, following a designated route and maintains a published time schedule.
2. Monitors the collection of correct passenger fare by observance of the fare box operation and handling of various tickets and passes.
3. Exhibits competent observation and handling of various passenger or traffic emergencies using the radio system. Contacts Dispatch to provide information or request assistance for any needed supervisory, police, or fire department personnel.
4. Provides passengers with information on MTTA rules and regulations as necessary while providing any requested system schedule information that may be needed.
5. Completes and submits any needed written reports, including but not limited to Bus Loss Reports, information gathering forms, and operators' daily equipment report.
6. Is responsible for the safe boarding, de-boarding and restraining of wheelchairs and all ADA related issues, i.e., ADA announcements, reasonable accommodation of passengers with a disability, etc.
7. Must be able to drive all revenue vehicles.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Must report to work on a regular and timely basis.
2. Assumes additional responsibilities as required.
