GVI, Inc, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a looking for an experienced Engineer / Scientist to join our Team in Charleston, SC.

This position will provide system engineering management support utilizing the Agile methodology in support of NIWC Atlantic programs.

Position Requirements:

Coordinate activities among functional area leads for the successful design, development and implementation of a system.
Employing DoDI 5000.2, provide input to the customer on the technical schedule with technical reviews.
Provide input on engineering resources to include personnel, material and facility requirements.
Provide input on system technical performance measures and metrics.
Provide input on Key Performance Parameters (KPP) and requirement thresholds / objectives.
Assist with the development of life cycle sustainment plans.
Provide input on technical reviews while assisting with the development and collection of technical review documentation artifacts.
Participate in identifying, assessing, prioritizing, mitigating, monitoring and closing of technical risks.
Assist with the application of the Agile management methodology for software based projects.
Provide input to the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
Develop business case analysis documentation to include an analysis of alternatives with tradeoffs.
Assist in the development and maintenance of a System Engineering Management Plan and other System Engineering documentation.
Assist in the management and development of Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) SysML models and simulations.
Work with stakeholders to determine needs and analysis opportunities for system improvements and obsolesce.
Assist with system lifecycle planning to include change analysis.
Help define and maintain the functional, logical and physical architecture of the system and family of systems.
Participate in design working groups such as critical design reviews.


Position Requirements:

US Citizen.
Active Secret Clearance (or higher).
BS degree in Engineering or Computer Science or Software Engineer with a combination of the following certifications; Professional Software Engineering Master (PSEM)/ Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) or with COR approval complete a vendor/platform specific certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Certified Applications Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), Sun Certified Professional (SCP), Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP), CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CISCO Certified Design Professional (CCDP), Oracle Certified Professional (OCP).
Six (6) years of experience in systems engineering management, to include: Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Support, Test and Evaluation, and Logistics support of C4ISR requirements.
Three (3) years of technical experience in support of MAGTF C2 programs. Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
