Job Description – Mechanical Test Engineer
Location – Louisville KY

Job Description: - Mechanical sealed system testing Engineer

Responsibilities:
• Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering or above
• Min 3 years of experience on Sealed system and Thermal testing’s like NDO, HUT
• Knowledge on Home Appliances domain preferably Refrigeration
• Excellent Communication skills with customer interfacing experience
• Knowledge on statistical tools like Mini tab & Weibull++ and Reliability knowledge is preferable
• Understand and develop critical parameters for the product using FMEA.
• Understand the standing instructions to develop evaluation plan, test sample.
• Coordinate with cross functional teams to build and run the equipment for testing.
• Design & develop mechanical system solutions based on engineering principles. Support design decisions with analysis and calculations, as required.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams, and work with vendors and contractors.
• Participating in supplier meetings to understand the manufacturing aspects as per the design.
• Provide 3D modeling in Creo of all solutions developed. Insure designs can be manufactured using readily available manufacturing processes.
• GD&T and drafting of custom parts and assemblies per ASME Y14.5M
• Selection of appropriate materials and processes for custom parts.
• Provide hands on assembly assistance and precise measurement techniques to collect data and identify root causes of machine bring-up issues.
• Reviewing and fixing of any design issues arising out of testing.
• Good Knowledge on Plastic and sheet metal design.
