Brighter Heights Arizona (BHA), are currently seeking motivated, passionate Behavioral Health Technicians. BHA provides office and community-based therapeutic services for adults and adolescents, located in Prescott Valley. We have therapeutic foster care homes and adolescent/adult group homes, providing a continuum of care as needed.

Snapshot of Daily Duties

Teach, coach and supervise clients in activities of daily living including morning, bedtime and overnight procedures, hygiene and cleanliness, housekeeping, meals.
Be familiar with and follow client's individual service and safety plans .
Observe individual client behavior over time and recognize progress towards treatment goals.
Effectively communicate, both written and orally.
Follow and help to implement individual treatment plans for all clients.
Recognize escalating behaviors and intervene at the appropriate level to ensure safety and security.
The Must Haves

Minimum of a High School Diploma required Bachelors Degree is Preferred.
Over the age of 21
Maturity, empathy and patience
The ideal candidate must have the ability to adjust to a fast-paced environment and follow proper protocols
Reliable Transportation
Valid Arizona Driver’s License.
Individual judgment, discretion, and decision making skills.
Must be physically able to assist in AWOL searches in any terrain.
Confidentiality and professionalism are essential.
Ability to pass a criminal background check.
Ability to obtain a Level 1 AZ Fingerprint Clearance (we will assist in submission)
