Full-time Product Manager

at Jobisite in Canada

Who we need

As part of our mission to impact 1 billion lives, we're looking for a passionate and visionary Product Manager who can bring end user insights, proven engagement tactics, but also empathy for our target audience.

Reporting to the Director of Product Management, you will be a subject matter expert ensuring the design and flow of our new mental health-focused product has the clinical resources and framework to be successful. You will be the voice of the customer, bridging the gap between their needs and what is currently being offered in the healthcare technology marketplace today. This is a future-forward position that places the needs of people at the heart of what we are building.

This position is fully remote, but you can choose to work out of one of our hubs in Toronto/Markham, Montreal, or Atlanta.

What's in it for you

Purpose, ownership, and influence. You are driven by the need to make a difference. At LifeWorks, we give you the chance to bring real-world solutions to life and make our vision for a people-centric continuum of care through technology a reality. This is a unique opportunity to scale your clinical and academic mental health expertise to reach millions. You will work behind the scenes on a deeply gratifying initiative that will empower the everyday person with technology-enabled access to life-saving support.

This is a role embedded in the Agile process, working in partnership with technical leaders (Product Owners, Engineers, Delivery Managers) and customer-facing teams. You will have the autonomy and the ownership to develop the direction for customer and end-user engagement by identifying the needs in the market and strategically leveraging your healthcare knowledge to position our product as the best and most effective option.

At LifeWorks, we have a proven history of successfully delivering wellbeing services in 150+ languages around the world. Joining us now as we embark on a digital-focused initiative is a chance to be part of the pilot, to scale this new product, to expand the portfolio you manage, and to ultimately move into a leadership role.

How you will make an impact:

Champion. You will bring the voice of the customer into the work that you do, connecting with clients in different ways, using various methods (i.e., interviews, surveys etc.) to engage their participation and elicit their feedback. You will encourage effective adoption amongst the customer base. You will leverage user information to support the business case for new products and partnerships.
Act as a product leader. You will collaborate with colleagues and leaders in Product Management to map out and set the direction of our new product, aligning the vision and the strategy. You will be part of roadmap planning to ensure a holistic customer experience and professional operations
Analyze, plan, and act. You will grow your understanding of customer and user needs, seek new opportunities and establish actionable insights. You will evaluate the response to the pilot, ensuring we meet clinical validity. You will continuously survey the market, keeping up with the latest trends and offerings to optimize our position in the competitive landscape.
What you bring:

The passion. You are a lifelong learner and experimenter, inspired to stay current with industry trends and think deeply about how new technologies can deliver healthcare services in a timely, tangible way.
The entrepreneurial approach. You can take a business vision and help bring it to life to meet the market's demands. You can bridge the needs of customers with the technical requirements to develop business objectives and produce results. You are both strategic and visionary, with the ability to identify opportunities and solutions and guide the team.
The analytics. You have experience validating assumptions and grounding ideas in data. You can measure and respond to KPIs, pivoting your approach to balance urgent and evolving delivery needs.
The interpersonal skills. You can build trust to lead others and influence decision-makers. You are a great team player who thrives in a collaborative environment, working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, and Executive leaders. You have effective and flexible communication skills and can comfortably explain complex problems and technical solutions to a range of audiences. You can navigate conflict, skillfully negotiate and ask intelligent questions to elicit actionable feedback.
