Lead Analyst, Credit Risk

Contributes to Credit Risk’s efforts to manage institutional loan portfolios, primarily within the insurance segments. Proactively monitors performance and industry/regulatory/portfolio/counterparty developments, including identification of emerging risks and recommendation of mitigation actions. Assists with regulatory and management reporting and periodic industry analyses. Contributes to the preparation and review of credit analyses, provides recommendations for credit requests and monitoring of portfolios in collaboration with management and peers. Responsible for reviewing/assisting with financial underwritings, borrower rating approvals, transaction and documentation reviews, as needed. Adds to the development of organization-wide projects and programs to improve risk management.

Bachelor’s degree in or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Requirements: 3-5 years of total work experience preferred, specifically credit analyses of large institutional borrowers preferably in the US regulated insurance sector. In addition, Credit Analysis & Loan Portfolio Management experience: Formal credit training preferred and/or experience as an underwriter, assisting with the management of rapid turnaround of financial and industry risk analysis.
