Ocean Bay, LLC, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a looking for an experienced Epidemiologist to join our Team in Arlington, VA.

Position Requirements:

Serve as the recognized expert in epidemiology.
Draw on your experience with public health data sources, such as Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) surveillance systems data, to identify partners to build capacity.
Manage significant projects and programs.
Collaborate with other senior scientists (chemists, pharmacologists, toxicologists and mathematicians) in a team environment.
Design, plan and initiate epidemiologic investigations.
Evaluate data collection, quality control and data utilization methods used to study epidemiological problems and issues.
Communicate findings from studies, evaluations, and research projects to colleagues, other federal government agencies and international groups.
Position Requirements:

US Citizen.
Ability to obtain and maintain an active Public Trust Designation.
Master’s Degree PLUS three (3) years of relevant experience
MS/PhD degree obtained from an accredited college or university with major study in an academic field related to the medical field, health sciences or allied sciences appropriate to the work of the position.
Qualifications will be evaluated and rated on the following competencies (knowledge, skills, abilities and other characteristics)

• data management, analysis and interpretation,

• collaboration / partnering,

• professional, oral and written communication,

• problem solving, and

• project management.
