Full-time SQL DBA

Position : SQL DBA

Location : Charlotte, NC

Duration : 12+ Months

 

Technical/Functional Skills :

?              Fundamental SQL Server DBA skills; including knowledge of SQL
Server infrastructure, system DB function knowledge

?              Migration constructs; including the steps for migrations

?              Knowledge of Backup/Restore options

?              Logshipping/replication knowledge

?              Basic networking knowledge (SQL ports config)

?              SSIS/SSRS package migration knowledge and methods; what steps
to be taken under the circumstances

?              SQL Security considerations: How to manage/migrate logins and
permissions

?              Troubleshooting skills w.r.t. access and performance

?              Ability to work on multiple projects/teams simultaneously

?              [Desirable] Knowledge of SQL in Azure (IaaS/PaaS)
