Responsibility works… as a Compliance Examiner!

We have an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Examiner located in Pittsburgh, PA.

What You’ll Do
As a Compliance Examiner you will develop, implement and perform independent monitoring and testing of Federated Hermes’ investment management activities or sales, distribution and service activities for compliance with Federated Hermes policies and procedures and applicable rules and regulations.

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent comparable business experience, including experience in financial services organizations in compliance, fund accounting, legal, audit or similar environment
• Minimum 2 years of business experience required
• Minimum 3 years business experience including 1 year of mutual fund or investment advisor compliance preferred
• Basic understanding of mutual fund and investment advisor process/regulations required
• Experience interpreting applying new investment related laws, rules, regulations, etc. preferred
• Demonstrated understanding of mutual fund process/regulations preferred
• Proficiency with Windows/PC operating system and Microsoft Word and Excel
• Working knowledge of regulations governing mutual funds (e.g., FINRA rules, Investment Company Act requirements, Investment Advisers Act requirements) preferred
The experience level of the candidate will determine level of position as Compliance Examiner or Sr. Compliance Examiner
