Full-time Export Manager

Job Description :
Main purpose of the position: Lead the Export Team in our Human Nutrition division to accelerate the international expansion of our pork business, playing a central role in the entire business development process in various geographies and increasing our internal capabilities in terms of of people and processes.

Although the company has its offices and production centers in the province of Teruel, residence there is not required, but it is required to travel whenever necessary, and especially abroad.



Functions / Tasks / Responsibilities :

MARKET STRATEGY:
• Assess market segments (size, growth, fit) across prioritized geographies
• Determine optimal entry strategies for prioritized geographies
• Identify potential customers in prioritized geographies based on market intelligence


CUSTOMER DEVELOPMENT
• Launch development initiatives across existing customers to enable growth
• Increase penetration in current geographies by developing new customers
• Lead market entry efforts in priority geographies to grow our customer base
• Cultivate relationships with leading European retailers, focused on the cured ham


EXPORT TEAM COORDINATION:
• Periodically plan and coordinate the tasks of area
managers • Support area managers/agents during negotiations with key clients
• Summary of the relationship with existing and new agents in all geographies


PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS, EVENTS AND DEVELOPMENT OF PRODUCTS:
• Coordinate the design of catalogs, brochures and other promotional materials.
• Organize representation of our company at trade shows and related events
• Collect product development ideas (eg, R&D, packaging)


BUDGETS AND PROCESSES:
• Participate in the budgeting process in collaboration with relevant Directors
• Conduct regular performance reviews to identify potential areas for improvement
• Manage and/or review administrative tasks throughout the export process
• Implement and/or optimize current organizational processes (eg CRM)

Requirements :
+3 years of experience in exports in the food sector, preferably focused on the meat industry and/or high value products
Knowledge of European markets, including previous interactions with retailers
Experience in early stages of international development, including team building
Business acumen and entrepreneurial drive
Excellent interpersonal skills to function in a matrix organization
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire sales teams
University degree, preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or related careers
Fluency in Spanish and English (C1), and an additional European language (B2)

The Annual Gross Salary is broken down into €30,000 fixed, €3,000 variable depending on the degree of achievement of the established KPIs and another €7,000 variable bonus, paid monthly, according to the gross contribution generated, once the budgeted billing figure has been reached. for each month.
