Shearwater Systems, LLC, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC and an industry leader, is seeking a Material Coordinator to join our Team in Yuma, AZ.

Qualified Candidates will be expected to:

Perform a variety of tasks associated with the procuring, receiving, storing, and issuing materials, tools and or equipment.
Prepare purchase request documents to meet compliance requirements for procurement.
Perform detailed research for materials, pricing, and availability to meet requirements.
Process receipts and purchase requisitions for reconciliation.
Update and maintain databases for work orders, inventory control.
Update and maintain historical files for work orders.
Support property control including yearly property scanning and disposition of turn-in property.
Use specialized software to generate purchase requests and professionally coordinates with required approvers.
Perform or directs the pick-up of materials at multiple vendors in town efficiently and safely, as needed.
Train and guide junior Material Coordinator employees.
Perform other duties as required to complete the assigned mission.


Position Requirements:

Must be a U.S. Citizen and not hold multiple citizenships.
Must possess or be able to obtain a security clearance prior to employment and maintain security clearance for the duration of employment.
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed, sometimes on short notice, to support supply requirements.
Must possess a valid driver's license, without special restrictions.
Must have dependable transportation and a dependable means of communication.
Must be able speak, write, read, and understand English.
Must have a well-mannered customer service attitude.
Must be willing to cross-train in other areas.
Must use “down-time” effectively to the benefit of test, self, and company.
Must be punctual, responsible, and dependable.
Must demonstrate motivation, initiative, and reliability.
Must be adaptable, flexible, and able to adjust to new or changing instructions.
Must have a demonstrated ability to follow instructions and company policy.
Must be able to deliver quality products to the customer and be responsive to their needs.
Must be safety and security conscious, complying with rules and policies.
Must be able to work both as part of a team and independently.
Must be proficient with MS Office, including Word and Excel.
Must be able to train and guide employees.
Must have demonstrated ability to perform their duties with a high level of attention to detail.
Physical Requirements:

Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical and periodic retests.
Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for work tasks assigned.
Must be capable of working in extreme weather conditions including summer temperatures peaking around 110 degrees Fahrenheit.
Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. unassisted.


Additional Desirable Qualifications:

Experience with General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS)
Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as MAXIMO
Five (5) years of direct work experience in logistics to include purchasing, transportation, receiving, storing, inventorying, packaging, shipping and disposing of materials and supplies
