Senior Specialist, Employee Relations

at Jobisite in Tamil Nadu

Manages and responds to general employee and labor relations issues and activities for a region or country. Completes research for conducting investigations into ethics concerns, including sexual harassment, inappropriate conduct, inter-employee relations, drug and alcohol abuse and performance management and may respond to security threats. Responds to issues raised via the ethics hotline from employee and non-employee, anonymous or non-anonymous sources. Responsible for determining the appropriate response and coordinating with the appropriate parties when action is required. Works directly with senior Employee Relations staff located Globally as well as in India ,HRBPs and HR Advisors to address employee relations issues raised by managers. Escalates employee workplace incidents and/or security threats to more senior team members. Initiates contact with legal counsel as needed. Accurately assesses the level of legal intervention needed, especially in cases of employee termination. Escalates termination situations to other involved parties. Serves as a resource and advises managers and supervisors on regulations regarding employee management practices, policies and employment laws. Requires an eye for detail as will be required to draft official letters and write enquiry reports with moderate to close guidance from senior ER staff or legal counsels, prepare tracking reports and dashboards etc. on PPT. No direct reports.

Bachelor‘s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
7-10 years of total work experience preferred.
Experience in managing or part of Employee Relations team with case management as a prime responsibility or as an HR business partner who has also managed case management or in Human Resources Law and/or Employment Law in a good organization from similar industry or services industry is preferred.
