Shearwater Systems, LLC is a Mission Support Services and Facility Support Services company providing support to government and commercial entities. Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

•Develop and implement Safety Policies and Procedures

•Develop and implement Safety Training Program to include safety topics for weekly and monthly safety meetings.

•As part of the training program, develop comprehensive safety checklists for all levels of work

•Continuously monitor safety reports submitted by supervisors and managers.

•Responsible for all OSHA Safety Reporting

•Ensure procedures for any required permits are developed and implemented, provide assistance as needed for the timely completion of the required permits.

•Maintain OSHA training records for all employees.

•Remain current with OSHA regulations.

•Investigate incidents and accidents and prepare a written report with conclusions and recommendations

•Maintain Behavioral Based Safety Program





Requirements:

•Ability to work in the United States

•Valid U.S. Driver’s License

•Must be able to pass a drug test and background check which includes DMV, Criminal and Credit

•Bachelor’s degree in a safety related field preferred; construction related degree with OSHA certifications will be considered.

•OSHA certified

•Knowledgeable with MS Office, specifically Excel and Word
