Position: US Accounting with leading MNC FMCG Company in New Jersey

Job Details
Role: Sr. Partner/Partner - Accounting
Direct Reporting- Commercial Finance
Function: Finance

Job Purpose and Scope
Lead the US finance operations by ensuring accurate accounting & reporting which adheres to established DOA & policies.
Be the finance business partner for US business team.

Key Accountabilities
Financial Accounting
• Supervise day to day US finance operations relating to various aspects of accounts and finance
• Ensure the timely closure of the books of accounts as per the guidelines of the corporate finance team
• Work with corporate AP team in ensuring timely payments and
reconciliations
• Ensure adherence to the IFC and DOA set for the region
Treasury
• Manage relationships and timely compliances of banks and financial institutions
• Manage payments and work with corporate treasury in managing working capital for the entity Legal & Taxation
• Work with corporate legal & tax team in ensuring adherence to entity level compliances Audit
• Coordinates with internal and external auditors in relation to the planned audit and ensures that all relevant information is provided, and open items closed in a timely manner
Business Finance
• Lead the budgeting & monthly variance tracking exercise for US cost
• Support the corporate FP&A team with data requirement for MIS
• Work with Sales to make sure the overdue are at below the set target
• Work with business excellence, supply chain on inventory management and minimize writ offs
• Be the voice of finance and support to business teams in US

Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Education:
• CPA
Experience:
• CPA with 5-7 years of exp
Skills & Competencies:
• In depth understanding of financial planning and accounting concepts.
