GVI, Inc, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a Logistician with experience general equipment support to join our Team in Newport, RI!



Position Responsibilities:

· Provides General Equipment (GE) Management support, including verifying and documenting that all GE assets, as listed within Navy ERP, are accounted for, maintained, secured, reported, and are recorded in the General Equipment Action Request System (GEARS); providing recommendations to update GEARS and Base Inventory Tracking System (BITS) for Government review; and updating Plant Property Tracking Sheets for Government review.

· Provides Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) support, including providing recommendations for process improvement of the Code 70 Integrated Master Schedule Guide (IMS); generating draft Integrated Schedules including baselines and tracking project milestones for Government review; providing Baseline Control Process recommendations to adjust the baseline according to current status and for improvement to the Code 70 Baseline Control Process for Government review; and preparing Project Schedule Analyses of the impact to baseline cost, schedule, and technical requirements resulting from changes to the Sponsor Project Objectives and Requirements for Government review.

· Provides General Equipment (GE) data entry support, including collecting, entering, and updating GE planning data into ERP, Material Management Tracking System (MMTS), and Inventory Tracking Systems.



Position Requirements:

· US Citizen.

· Secret clearance.

· Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Science, Engineering, or related field.

· Demonstrated experience with managing General Equipment Access Request Systems.

· Demonstrated experience managing integrated schedules.

· Ten (10) years experience in Operations Research Analysis .

· Demonstrated experience with the Material Management Tracking System (MMTS).
