Key Responsibilities:
General Management - Manages multiple, diverse teams and provides leadership through other subordinate managers.
Executes business plans and contributes to the development of functional strategy.
Manages activities for multiple diverse teams.
Responsible for resource allocation and ensuring projects are on schedule and within budget. Contributes to the development of functional strategy.
Ensures work is integrated across teams and that the work produced meets product/service standards and exceeds quality standards.
Recruits, directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team. Contributes to the development of overall procedures and policies.
Ensures they are executed as intended by subordinate teams.
Manages multiple teams through subordinate managers.
Responsible for the achievement of multiple teams objectives.
Prerequisites:
Must have experience in Investment Banking,
should possess strong digital acumen and have led large transformation across operations.
Streamline and digitize the processes using new technologies and data to improve the accuracy, partner with business stakeholders / business partner groups and establish vision for future and relevant business priorities for the period.
The role will include but not be limited to setting up of performance metrics, regular monitoring of performance, ensuring governance and controls are in place for every process, ensuring BCP plans and Risk Analysis is performed for every business and process.
Should have strong influencing skills, working with cross functional and cross regional teams to drive business objectives and comfortable in driving outcomes in matrixed environment.
Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred. 18 +years of total work experience with at least 5 years in management preferred. Experience in securities or financial services preferred.
