Waikiki Health is recruiting for a full-time Compliance Officer. The Compliance Officer ensures employees follow the laws, rules, and regulations of all levels of government, that company policies and procedures are maintained and being followed, and that all employees are trained to be in compliance. The position administers claims management, safety, and risk management.

Duties include but are not limited to:
• Processes and reviews National Practitioner Data Bank enrollments and regularly checks for provider malpractice reports.
• Submits annual liability insurance renewal for health center through the Federal Torts Claims Act and regularly updates MIEC on provider status for gap coverage.
• Oversees Waikiki Health Safety Committee:
o Coordinates Safety Inspections of Waikiki Health site locations and works with Safety Coordinators to ensure that site locations are compliant with State and Federal safety regulations
o ensures that proper Page 2 paperwork and documentation is on file for Inspection purposes
o participates in emergency operations team as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience related field OR Master’s degree and three years of experience in related field.
• Combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Healthcare Compliance Certification Preferred.
