Industrial Sewing Professional

at Jobisite in Indiana

In search of 4 experienced Industrial Sewing Professionals with 3 + years' experience.
Responsible for creating, altering, and repairing garments and other items. The work requires precision, creativity, and technical expertise in handling different materials and sewing techniques. Starting rate is $14-$17 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
Operating and maintaining a wide variety of industrial sewing machines and tools.
Assembling garments according to specifications.
Conducting quality checks on finished products.
Perform alterations as required.
Follow patterns and specifications to ensure high-quality production.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and operational standards.
Skills & Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience operating industrial sewing machines.
Knowledge of different fabrics and sewing techniques.
Ability to read and interpret work orders/instructions accurately. (English/Spanish)
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and communication skills.
Manual dexterity and can sit for long periods of time.
Work Environment:
Manufacturing/warehouse environment.
Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 8-10 hour days, with some mandatory weekend hours.
o Start and end times may vary depending on the work to be completed.
Pay based on experience.
