Electrical-Mechanical Maintenance Repair Technician - Avon, Ohio - JOB #25-01100


Salary Range: $30.50 to $35.50/Hr. - Permanent Position / Benefits


2nd Shift Opportunity from 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM



DESCRIPTION:


Avon, / Cleveland Ohio area Manufacturing Company seeks an experienced Electrical-Mechanical Maintenance Repair Technician to work in their 2nd shift operations. The Maintenance Repair Technician will follow standard procedures and operating manuals to effect repair, maintenance and diagnosis of mechanic problems in capital equipment and facilities. Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment. Replaces faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches and motors and positions sensing devices using hand tools. Replaces electric motor bearings and rewires motors.


REQUIREMENTS:


High School Diploma, GED, Vocational School, Trade School, Technical School, Associate and/or Bachelor's Degree. Electrical / Mechanical Technical Degree is Preferred with a minimum of (3) years of hands-on electrical-mechanical maintenance repair experience in a manufacturing environment.


Must have formal training in the following: Hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic systems, Conveyor systems, Blueprint reading,
CNC Controls, Welding and fabricating, OSHA, Lock-out tag out procedures, Confined space entry procedures.


Solid verbal and written communication and documentation skills.
