We are hiring a Technology Lead – Azure API Gateway.

Location: Houston, TX 77010 (Hybrid – Onsite from Day 1)
Duration: 6 Months

We are looking for an experienced Technology Lead with strong expertise in API architecture and Azure API Management platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience designing scalable APIs and implementing GraphQL federated API solutions in cloud environments.

Key Skills:
• GraphQL Federated API Development
• Azure API Management / API Gateway
• REST & Event-Driven API Architectures
• OAuth 2.0 & OpenID Connect Security
• Cloud API Observability (Application Insights / OpenTelemetry)

Responsibilities:
• Design and develop scalable APIs using REST, GraphQL, and event-driven architectures
• Manage and configure Azure API Management / API Gateway including routing, throttling, and policies
• Implement API security standards such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and token-based authentication
• Monitor and maintain APIs in cloud environments with observability tools
• Collaborate with product teams and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable API solutions
• Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and software engineering best practices for development and deployment

Requirements:
• 6+ years of experience in API development and cloud platforms
• Strong expertise in GraphQL federated APIs and API lifecycle management
• Experience with Azure cloud and API security standards
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related field
