Job Description
PeopleReady ofHesperiahas an immediate opening forCustomer Service RepresentativesinAdelanto, CA.
Note - Pay rate for this position is $16/Hour
Shift - 1st Shift (Day)

• To process customers orders, complaints or problems and see them through to a satisfactory completion.
• Receive and process orders by phone, fax, email, or walk in customers.
• Enter all information into computer and verify accuracy of order.
• Assist customers with orders by calculating quantity, size, style, etc.
• Process credit/debit memos.
• Receive and investigate customer complaints, problems or questions by fax, phone, email or in person.
• Find best solution in order to satisfy customers.
• Assist and communicate with outside sales representatives regarding all aspects of customer accounts.
• Forwards literature and messages to salesmen, as needed.
• Enter quotes, making sure pricing is accurate for customers.
• Assist customers with product line information regarding availability, technical information, etc.
• Keep manager informed about updated customer profiles.
• Fax acknowledgments.
• Assist and follow-up on motor freight and UPS shipments.
• Notify customers of delivery dates and of back orders or problems with delivery.
• Mail samples and literature to existing or prospective customers.
• Know the products and their functions.
• Research credit issues and notify credit department of large orders.
• Follow-up on production of material, if necessary.
• Helps answer phones, delivers materials and literature.
• Other duties as required


• High School Diploma
• One to two years customer service and general office experience.
• Proficient knowledge of Word and Excel applications within a Windows-based operating system and experience with a 10 key calculator.
• Building experience is preferred.
• Must have good interpersonal skills.
• Math - Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide; to use practical application of fractions, percentages, and statistics.
• Reading - Ability to read and understand technical journals, memorandums, manuals, reference books, and financial reports.
• Writing - Ability to write business letters, memorandums, and reports using proper format and conforming to rules of punctuation, grammar, diction and style.
• Speaking - Ability to be conversant in the principles and methods of effective and persuasive speaking and discussion
