Marine Technical Warehouse Associate

at Jobisite in Florida

L1M Supply Inc is providing logistics and warehouse services to the maritime industry.

Our client’s services include cost-efficient shipboard maintenance, and repair and emergency services at most major seaports worldwide. We have a proven track record of successful operations in the shipping industry.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations in the warehouse
- Pack toolboxes and material as ordered by logistic department
- Unpacking toolboxes and prepare/count return material/tools documentation
- Maintaining and cleaning of tools and equipment
- Conduct physical inventory counts, monitor stock levels and update in ERP system
- Purchase consumables and materials from specified vendors as requested by logistic department
- Manage all material that are delivered and sent from the warehouse
- Oversee simple electrical and mechanical assembly projects
- Initiate/Coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
- Evaluate the most cost-effective shipping modes and schedules
- Manage relationships with suppliers and logistical department to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery, and compliance
- Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision

Requirements
- Warehouse experience at least 3 years
- Good knowledge of Maritime European electrical systems, and mechanical material
- Good knowledge in computer/inventory management system
- Must have experience with forklifts and other warehouse tools
