Ross Plumbing (Contractor No. CFC056481), a family-owned, family-operated residential and commercial plumbing company with multiple large commercial contracts, seeks plumbers' helpers.

Requirements
• Hard-working, tech-savvy willing learn and to be trained.
• Will train the right people. See typical duties below.
• Vocational training or professional experience in maintenance helpful.

Additionally, applicants must have:
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work on uneven surfaces
• Ability to stand, bend or walk for long periods of time
• Ability to work in all kinds of weather

Soft Skills
Active listening skills, able to understand plumber's instructions and act upon them intelligently and efficiently.
The preferred candidate also has advanced mechanical skills, physical dexterity, basic mathematical skills and strong attention to detail.

Job description and typical duties:
• Packing and sorting plumbing equipment for each job.
• Locating pipe leaks and preparing the work area.
• Fetching tools, truck stock and equipment.
• Cutting open walls and structures to expose pipes.
• Assisting Plumber with plumbing installations and repairs.
• Measuring, cutting, and threading pipes.
• Digging and compaction of dirt work and trenches
• Other duties as directed by the plumber.
• Spending time learning from peers.
