Senior Firmware Engineer

Job Title: Senior Firmware Engineer
Location: Huntsville, Alabama (Onsite)
Experience: 7-15 Years
Strong knowledge of Object Oriented ANSI C++ development
Embedded programming experience for multi-thread architectures involving multiple processes, Board bring up
Strong knowledge of the Linux Operating System and embedded RTOS (e.g. FreeRTOS) systems.
Experience in designing and developing communication interface protocols (Packet structure, Master/Slave, IPC,
etc..)
Stacks/Middleware integration (Bluetooth, USB, Ethernet etc.)
Strong experience in Documentation (Software Design, Architecture, test protocols), Review & reporting areas.
Hands-on experience in complete software development life cycle stages (Waterfall, Agile, etc...)
Work experience with tools like Git/SVN, JIRA/Bugzilla, Static code analysis tools etc
Knowledge of IEC 62304/ISO13485 standards is added advantage
Experience in scalable platform architecture development is added advantage
Development experience with ARM Cortex processors (A7 from NXP, M4 from TI/ Renesas) preferred.
Strong knowledge of serial and network protocols.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree with Electrical/Electronic Engineering background or equivalent.
